It's not too late if you're a high school senior looking for a college. Hundreds of colleges, including several here in New England, still have open seats for the fall term.

The National Association for College Admission Counseling says more than 350 colleges and universities are reporting that they have openings and financial aid available. That's more than previous years.

Each spring, the Association releases an online tool that allows counselors and parents to help students who haven't finished the college application process.

In Massachusetts, at least 23 schools have openings, including Becker College, Lesley University, Regis College and Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Despite a national obsession with elite college admissions, there are plenty of seats for students seeking education beyond high school.
