Boston Mayor Marty Walsh gave his second State of the City address Tuesday night at Symphony Hall. Afterward, the Scrum caught up with a bevy of political observers to get their take on what the mayor had to say--and what he decided to omit or gloss over.

They are, in order: former State Senate President turned lobbyist Robert Travaglini (:29); Boston City Councilor Matt O'Malley (1:50); Boston Herald editorial page editor Rachelle Cohen (3:12); Boston Municipal Research Bureau head Sam Tyler (4:43); State Rep Aaron Michlewitz (7:42); State Rep Byron Rushing (8:44); City Councilor Ayanna Pressley (10:58); and WGBH political sage Peter Kadzis (14:41). All deficiencies in sound quality attributable solely to WGBH reporter Adam Reilly.

Bospoli, higher ed, state of the city, Marty Walsh
