It's 4th of July week, which means Beacon Hill goes down the Cape, Pops goes the 4th (or should we say the 3rd this year?), and the annual Muzzle Awards remind us that America's commitment to freedom has its limits.

Every year, Northeastern journalism professor Dan Kennedy rounds up 10 individuals and institutions he believes have "undermined or diminished" free speech and personal liberties.

This is the second year that the Muzzles, which you can read here, have been published by WGBH News. Naturally, The Scrum has its own take on the Muzzles "winners" and what they represent. Listen to the podcast above, or subscribe to The Scrum podcast in iTunes.
