Attorney General candidate Warren Tolman--described by WGBH's Peter Kadzis as a "consummate political insider" and "prince of labor"--won his party's endorsement at the recent Mass. Democratic State Convention, but only by the slimmest of margins. Somehow, newcomer Maura Healey managed to come within a whisker of winning. And in what's been a pretty boring election year thus far, the Mass. Attorney General's race is becoming the thing to watch.
Plus, gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley's Scott Brown apology tour continues--and while Coakley and her rivals Steve Grossman and Don Berwick all identify with the term "progressive," its meaning is nebulous at best.
