People said the 2014 Massachusetts governor's race was boring, but what a finish! We finally have a winner--Mazel tov, Charlie Baker!--but we still don't have answers to some pretty big question. For example: Was Coakley's Election Night non-concession a savvy move or poor sportsmanship? Who are the potential Democrats coming down the pipeline to take on Baker? And has the role of labor been overstated this whole time?
This week, The Scrum goes on location to Dorchester's Banshee Pub for a post-election redux. David Bernstein, Peter Kadzis, and Adam Reilly take a gimlet-eyed look at the Mass. governor's race. Also included: a fond farewell to David Bernstein, who's taking his talents to Richmond, VA; and special guest appearances by Mike Deehan of State House News Service and Jon Keller of WBZ.
Each week on The Scrum we talk about politics and media from Beacon Hill to the Beltway. Subscribe to The Scrum in iTunes.
