About The Staff

Elizabeth Ross

Elizabeth Ross is senior producer for Innovation Hub. She was previously WGBH's producer for The Takeaway and a producer for PRI's The World and has reported for the BBC, NPR and The Boston Globe.

Elizabeth began her journalism career (and life) across the pond where she was a BBC Regional News Trainee and produced a variety of television and radio news programs and documentaries in Wales. She has worked as a producer for the BBC World Service and as a freelance producer and reporter for BBC Radio 4's The World Tonight.

Elizabeth is a fan of good chocolate and strong tea. You can follow her on Twitter: @eross6

Marc Sollinger

Marc Sollinger is an Olympic gold medalist, shark wrestler, and lead cultist of the dread god Cthulhu. In addition to all this, he’s a total liar.

Actually, Marc’s a producer for Innovation Hub and has previously worked for The PBS NewsHour and Marketplace.

Some fun facts about him: he grew up overseas, creates extremely nerdy podcasts in his spare time (you can listen to them here), and speaks just enough French to know when French people are making fun of him. He can also bake croissants, though the amount of time this takes means he does so very rarely. And the funnest fact of all is that Marc Sollinger is extremely uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person, so he will stop doing so now.

Sarah Leeson

Sarah Leeson is an associate producer for Innovation Hub. In a past life, she was a producer at Michigan Radio for their daily news magazine, Stateside. She is a Michigan native and a University of Michigan alum, so she's ready to fight Ohio State fans on sight as is required by her degree.

Sarah loves to go to plays, read fiction and comics, scroll Tumblr, and find new comedy to enjoy. She's traveled quite a bit and is always planning her next big trip. (Maybe Japan? Malta? The moon? We'll see.) On the weekend, Sarah can be found around Boston eating too much pasta and petting other people's dogs.
