Residents from all across the state joined together at Logan Airport and Copley Square last Sunday to protest President Trump’s executive immigration ban. This was the second Sunday in a row that a massive protest was held in the commonwealth to protest the President, who has only been in office for a little more than a week. The major political leaders of Massachusetts including Senator Markey, Senator Warren, Mayor Walsh and Representative Joe Kennedy stood with protesters at these rallies, showing solidarity and speaking against Trump’s policies. Governor Baker was noticeably absent from both of these protests and has not been as publicly critical of the immigration ban and Trump’s other executive orders. WGBH's Adam Reilly and Peter Kadzis were joined by Politico's Lauren Dezenski and MassLive's Gintautas Dumcius to discuss how Trump's immigration ban will impact the people of the commonwealth and Massachusetts politics.
